  The number one reason why people fail to quit smoking can be traced to deeply repressed ideas that may be difficult to eliminate. Indeed, kicking this costly and bad habit is a matter of a transformation of one's way of thinking. Here are 10 ways to quit smoking:


1. Educate yourself about the many, many, many dangers of smoking. Most smokers don't quit because they are not aware of the ill effects of smoking. Even worse, countless smokers are also familiar with the hazards of smoking, but they feel that they're not true - that is, until such time when they develop the particular ailment or disease.

2. Always remember that you're not invincible. You're a mere mortal. You're no superman. Your body is susceptible to wear and tear, and smoking enlarges that number a dozen times. You're not excluded from the perils of smoking. You're no different from anybody else: human.

Nothing Wrong With Being A Quitter

  There are many reasons that people take up smoking but whatever they are, there comes a point in most smokers lives when they would like to quit. Many people will try, fail and try again throughout their lives and there is no doubt that the biggest obstacle is will power. That is no weakness. This will power is needed to overcome a chemical addiction and, smokers claim, is one of the hardest things to achieve.


When people attempt to diet and there are certain things that that try to avoid, one slip does not mean the end of a diet. However, when you slip off the rails and have a cigarette during the course of quitting, immediately your veins and your brain are full of the craved for chemicals once again and youre back on the merry-go-round. This is why it is almost impossible to stop smoking by cutting down. However, there is as much help available for those who wish to stop smoking as there is for those on a diet.
