  Quit smoking hypnosis is slowly gaining grounds as many ex-smokers would attest to its effectiveness. There are several smokers who don't mind testifying that they were cured from their addiction after meeting and having sessions with a hypnotist who specializes in hypnotizing smokers.


There are believers but there are also some skeptics but the effectiveness of hypnotism should not be underestimated. As long as it helps smokers become ex-smokers, it is indeed worth a try.

The effect of hypnotism to a human brain has long been debated by scientists. Hypnotism is nothing new to us but the use of hypnotism to help people stop their urge to smoke is still relatively new. We all heard of stories about people suddenly acting like animals simply because their hypnotist instructs them so, so why won't they stop smoking if the hypnotist tells them so ? The sad truth is that hypnotism has been turned in shows for TV that are not credible at all, but it is indeed a real way to persuade or influence people, even used by marketing companies who have analyzed how people buying's behaviors.

Quit smoking hypnosis is not for all smokers though. Some would be cured almost instantly while some won't ever see any results from it. It really depends on the person if he/she truly believes that hypnotism would work on them. If it works then they spared themselves of the withdrawal symptoms experienced by smokers who want to kick the habit, if it doesn't work for them then at least they tried it and could brag about being hypnotized to their friends.

Bottom line here is this, there are different ways to quit smoking and there's nothing wrong if you try them out as long as they are safe. Make sure if ever you decide to go to a hypnotist that it's a reputable hypnotist as hypnotism can trigger negative effects on you if the hypnotist would play around with your brain's system. Don't entrust yourself to someone who only plays around with hypnotism but trust the reputable and well-experienced ones only.

Again, hypnotherapy works and you are the only one to decide if this is the way to go. The first rule you have to keep in mind is that you actually want to stop smoking. You must want to stop smoking. This is a rule that you have to integrate for any stop smoking way, either it is with the help of stop smoking aids such as patchs or gums. You need to know why you want to stop smoking, what are your good reasons to break the habit. Then, you will have a much greater success probability than if you try any quit method without really having the will to do so. Learn to visualize your goal and how you feel when you are there, you can apply this to many things in your life.
